History

At SIJS, we believe that the study of history should inspire pupils’ curiosity to explore more about the past. History helps pupils to understand the diversity of societies, relationships between different groups and how these relationships have shaped the world we live in. At SIJS we seek to develop our children’s sense of identity (both British and Cornish) through the study of local history and seek to give our learners a coherent understanding and appreciation of it.
