What a fantastic day we have had at SIJS celebrating World Book Day 2020 – there were so many amazing costumes from Harry Potter to The Enormous Crocodile. Four Cornish stories were shared – Tom and the Giant, Lutey and the Mermaid, The Mousehole Cat and the story of St. Piran with some very creative activities for us to enjoy, including creating life-sized giants, magic tricks, flag making and shadow puppet shows. The book sale was a success at lunchtime too with over 220 books sold for 10p each. Thank you everyone for all your support and we are already looking forward to the next one…..
